resource Tropical Storm Barry formed in the southern Gulf of Mexico from a tropical depression. The storm has very little chance of intensifying and will be over land in eastern Mexico within 24 hours. Since this storm will not be affecting coastal US, this will be our only mention of Tropical Storm Barry.
