Nearing the Official End of the 2017 Atlantic Tropical Storm Season

After several US landfalls since August,  we are finally closing in on the end of the 2017 Atlantic Tropical Storm Season on November 30.

That being said, we will be monitoring all areas where Atlantic Basin storms form well into December in case any post season storms were to develop.

Named Storm Rina – 2017

Tropical Storm Rina formed from a tropical depression 550 miles east of Bermuda.  This storm is moving generally north, away from the US, and will not be affecting any US coastal areas.  This storm is expected to move toward the northeast in a day or two and dissipate in the North Atlantic. This will be our only mention of Named Storm Rina.
