Named Storm Nicholas – 2021

Named Storm Nicholas formed in the southern Gulf of Mexico from a tropical low pressure area. This storm system is moving generally north and will be affecting the east coast of Mexico and almost the entire east Gulf coast of Texas. Persons in Texas and southwestern Louisiana should be monitoring this storm carefully. Tropical Storm conditions can be expected along the Texas coast starting in the overnight hours of September 12-13 and extending through mid week. Substantial rainfall and gusty winds can be expected with some flash flooding.
