Named Storm Arlene 2017

Tropical Storm Season starts officially on June 01, 2017. That being said,
Tropical Storm Arlene formed in the mid Atlantic from a series of active thunderstorms. The storm is moving west northwest at 25 miles per hour with top sustained winds at just over 45 Miles per hour. This storm will be running into an area of dry air and wind shear on Friday, April 21 and will be dissipating shortly thereafter.
 
We are reporting this very early rare Tropical Storm in keeping with our policy of making mention of all Named Storms forming in the Atlantic, Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico.
