The tropics are awake again, with Nana rolling around in the Atlantic and an area near the Carribean that is poised for development. The following graphic from the National Hurricane Center illustrates the systems and their locations.
Early computer models suggest that both systems will not pose a threat to the Gulf of Mexico, however, we will continue to monitor these systems.
