Named Storm Beryl – Unofficial Update. Persons in southeastern and Gulf Coastal Texas should be monitoring the progress of this storm carefully. The NWS has issued strong rip current advisories for most of the northern Gulf of Mexico from Florida to south eastern Texas.
Named Storm Beryl will be making landfall north of the Texas – Mexico border from late Sunday night into Monday morning. Heavy rain, strong wind, lightning, beach erosion, high wave action, some storm surge with flooding and the possibility of tornadoes will be possible along the Texas Gulf Coast and possibly far southwestern Louisiana.

Named Storm Chris – 2024

Named Storm Chris formed just off the eastern Mexico Gulf Coast. This storm will be affecting east central Mexico with heavy rain and gusty wind.

Since Named Storm Chris will not be affecting the USA, this will be our only mention of this storm.
