Named Storm Beryl formed in the east central Atlantic from a tropical low pressure area. This storm is about 700 miles west – southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands and is moving generally west. The tracking models of this system currently shows generally westward movement through the central Atlantic, Caribbean and possibly the southern Gulf of Mexico in about a week.
