Named Storm Oscar – 2024 developed from a tropical low pressure area just northeast of the Dominican Republic. This storm is currently at Hurricane force but will be encountering very strong upper level wind that will reduce the intensity of the storm and start to steer it to the northeast into the central Atlantic in a couple days.
Since Named Storm Oscar – 2024 will not be affecting the USA, this will be our only mention of this storm.
