ALERT: Hurricane Zeta unofficial update 27 October, 2020, @ 4:45 AM EDT –

ALERT:  4:45 AM EDT, Oct. 27 – Hurricane Zeta is interacting with the mountains of the Yucatan Peninsula at this hour, but not enough to weaken it substantially. Current projections indicate that this dangerous Hurricane will be taking aim on Southern Louisiana, southern Mississippi, southern Alabama and part of the Florida Panhandle Wednesday into Thursday, October 28 and 29. All persons in these areas should have plans in place and if mandatory evacuation orders are issued by State and Local Government, to follow those orders. Coastal residents can expect a strong coastal storm surge, high, gusty hurricane force winds winds, 5 to 10 inches of rain, lowlands and flash flooding and some tornadoes.  Persons inland in Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, the Carolina’s and Virginia can expect high rainfall totals and gusty winds through this coming weekend.
