Named Storm Zeta – 2020

Named Storm Zeta formed in the far northwestern Caribbean from a tropical low pressure area. This system is forecast to move slowly northwesterly into the Gulf, then north over the next few days and may be affecting the same general areas of the Gulf that were hit by storms Laura, Sally and Delta.

Persons from Texas to Florida should be monitoring this storm carefully because of the potential for heavy rain, gusty winds and the possibility of lowlands flooding.
