Named Storm Karl – 2022 developed over the southern Gulf of Mexico from a Tropical Low Pressure Area. This storm is currently in the far southwestern Gulf of Mexico moving generally westerly. This storm will be in an area where the possibility of strengthening is low. Because of the projected track of this storm into eastern Mexico with a low chance of US involvement, this will probably be our only mention of Named Storm Karl -2022.
We will add unofficial updates if conditions change.
